“Furry” is a colloquial term for anthropomorphic,
which describes animals or objects that have been given human
qualities and characteristics. Famous examples often quoted
in this context include Bugs Bunny and Mickey Mouse.
On the “furry” level, this not only aptly describes
our animation products but also our affinity to animals, as
we frequently use them in our productions to express the dramatic
themes in our own human culture.
On the “fish” level, we are a school of individual
characters contributing to a common vision, and always finning
about to adapt and learn new trends, new cultures, new worlds.
That’s why we’re the Furryfish.
