As national sponsor (Singapore) at the World Cyber Games 2006, Intel upped the tempo with an impressive showcase to mirror the blast its Core2Duo technology is creating in the marketplace. Visitors were treated to gaming stations, dance performances, lucky draws and prize giveaways.
We brought on more superhero action with our introduction of Intel’s own gaming queen, the face of the Intel Core2Duo campaign. It was a visual feast for enthusiastic fans and gamers, who flocked the booth for a piece of the fun.

We’re seeing stars again as StarHub’s Christmas greeting card gets a special feature in Marketing magazine, enjoying a bit of industry glitz and attention. StarHub’s head of corporate communications says the chess-card set is a hit with their customers and business associates, and we're happy that our little innovation made it into the limelight, and is now a popular showpiece for our customer.

Rex is poster boy once again as he makes the e-headlines at Wacom’s website, revealing trade secrets about working magic with Wacom products. But seriously, the nice people at Wacom just wanted a feature on him for robbing them of another fine product from the store - through legitimate means, of course. Thank you, Wacom - Rex can’t stop fiddling with his new toy, and he’ll be working hard to sweep more of your treasures next year.

“The Greatest Story Never Told” is an annual event that collects animated shorts from all over the world to compete for its title. We’re so pleased that “The Habit” now stands alongside 19 other fabulous entries to make a finalist position in the running for top spot. The final race is now open to public voting until late March - we’re keeping our hopes up that booger-licking good would strike a familiar chord with audiences all over.

Following our beloved tradition of sending our home-made e-cards to friends, supporters and loved ones, we designed a Christmas greeting to celebrate the season and bring a laugh to all good people. This time, we made Baa (the black sheep) our Christmas ambassador to help spread the festive cheer, and he returns with a harvest of gifts when he bags the top prize in the funniest story category at the Wacom E-card Contest.

We’re proud to have presented our 1-minute animation clip, “The Habit” at the Singapore History Museum, as part of Animation Nation this year.
This little story about a simple man and his booger brought on the laughs for the audience, and has inspired us to work on further ideas to expand
his story to include a series of other undesirable habits that we’re only all too familiar with.

One of our proudest moments this year. Lacklustre Lucy, our favourite
little story about how a sad little girl gets to smile again when she
experiences the joy of colour, is now a happy, trophied princess.
At the Creative Circle Awards this year, Lacklustre Lucy bagged 2 Silvers
(Television & Cinema-Cinema-Individual and Craft in Television & Cinema-Animation/computer generated images) and a Bronze (Craft in Television & Cinema-Soundtrack/Music). This was the
harvest of a most fruitful and happy collaboration between McCann Erickson
and our team - we look forward to more exciting projects with you, guys!!

Our team was proud to be one of seven selected to present at this year’s
International Design Forum, in a special themed event titled “DesignEdge”.
It was a journey back to the basics when a joint brief to present ideas
using paper saw us crafting the most ridiculous objects out of paper and
paper alone. Our funny little story, “Paperman”, might well have been the
shortest (and fastest) movie ever made, shot entirely with a mobile phone
(the Sony Ericsson K750i, no less).
A fun little adventure - and we were happy to have shared meaningfully
with with designers from varied disciplines. Many thanks to MICA for this
opportunity!

Organised by the charity ENCMAS, the Keep Britain Tidy Competition was an initiative
to revamp Britain’s anti-littering campaign, traditionally
represented by the infamous Tidyman symbol.
This year, the competition called for entries to use
animation to inject life into the Tidyman character,
and to spin a fun story to help promote its anti-littering
theme on the internet. It was suggested by organizers
that the entry should be “fun, humorous, ironic,
subversive and embrace perversity or stupidity.”
Furryfish’s Rex Lee proved his mettle when he
bagged the first prize in this international competition,
winning over our British counterparts with a hilarious
entry about a bank robbery.
